Schöfferhofer

Schöfferhofer can trace its roots to the early 17th century when Peter Schöffer von Gernsheim first opened his Wheat Beer brewery in Schwetzingen, Southern Germany. Wheat beer was brewed for hundreds of years by Bavarian monks for its nutritional qualities.

Schöfferhofer is brewed in two styles – Hefe (cloudy bottle-fermented, with yeast in bottle) and Kristall (filtered clear). Due to its sparkling head and fruity aromatic taste Schöfferhofer is known as the ‘Champagne’ of beers and is a great accompaniment to food, especially spicy dishes. The modern high-quality urban design and more sessionable 5% ABV differentiates Schöfferhofer from other German wheat beers available in the market.
